Spring is right around the corner so it’s time to shed that winter skin and get your glow back! Make sure to change up your daily diet and routine to incorporate these 5 fruits that make your skin glow! We’ll tell you how!


Lemons are rich in vitamin C, which helps to flush out toxins that may be causing breakouts. It’s also a natural bleaching agent so it is able to even out any hyperpigmentation. Add lemon juice and honey to a glass of water and drink it first thing in the morning to help rid your body of those pesky toxins. You can also make a face mask using lemon juice, honey, and baking soda. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and remove it with warm water and circular motions to reveal glowing skin!


2. Apples

Apples are rich in vitamins A, vitamin C, fiber, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. (All of that goodness n an apple?! Who knew?!)  Eating the peel of the apple is very important because it’s packed with antioxidants. But make sure to wash it thoroughly before enjoying to remove dirt and bacteria. You should be eating eating at least one apple per day. Add one to your breakfast, lunch, or snack! As a face mask, mix a grated apple with honey and leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off with warm water.


3. Oranges

Oranges are rich in vitamin C and prevents DNA damage, reduces inflammation, and increases collagen production. You should eat at least half an orange daily. You can add them to your smoothie, salad, or eat as a snack with nuts and other fruits. You can also apply the juice of an orange onto the areas of your skin where you have hyper-pigmentation. Leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse it off, then “glow” about your day!


4. Bananas

Did you know that the peel of a banana can remove acne scars?! It’s rich in vitamins A, C, K, and E, as well as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium, making it a great moisturizer with antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Add a banana to your breakfast oatmeal or morning smoothie! You can also mash it up and apply it all over your face as a mask. It’ll leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

5. Grapes

Whether you’re Team Red or Team Green, the benefits will be the same! And MAN, are there benefits! Grapes contain resveratrol, which helps protect the skin from UV damage and skin cancer. It’s also rich in vitamins C and K, as well as calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. Grape seed extract has skin rejuvenating, protecting, and healing properties which is sure to get you that glowing skin you’re looking for! Grapes make a great snack and a good addition to chicken soups and salads. You can also add crushed grapes to your skin as a mask and rinse off with cold water after 10 minutes.
